Bio

Oluwasola Daniels is a Ph.D. candidate in History at the University of California, Davis. She has a Master's in History and Strategic Studies from the University of Lagos. She taught courses in international relations and African history for almost a decade at Adekunle Ajasin University. She is a historian of modern West Africa. Her research interests include: history of medicine, reproductive and sexual health, gender, and intellectual history. Her current research explores the historical connection between reproductive health and state formation in Nigeria. She has published widely in peer-reviewed journals and edited volumes and continues to contribute to broader conversations on African history and global health.
